Three Seconds
三秒風暴是近期內讀過最好的一本小說。
本書是由一位記者及一位前科犯合作寫成的犯罪小說。由於兩位作者的親身經歷讓本書非常精采。故事是有關警察線民、謀殺竊聽逃獄及北歐毒品走私等多條故事交織而成。整本書幾乎沒有冷場，情節環環相扣，故事緊湊刺激完全不輸看ㄧ場精采的好萊塢警匪動作片。然而，最令人驚艷的是作者文筆優美，故事架構完整，不會有虎頭蛇尾，草草結束之感。除此之外，這本小說的翻譯品質之高，幾乎可以當作經典文學作品來讀。
"唯有罪犯才能真正扮演罪犯"
這句不但生動的描寫線民無時無刻處在的危險，也代表作者的第一手資料。結合前科犯及社會記者的經歷，故事本身並不會不合理，反而讓讀者看到這社會的另一面。書衣上的人物即是本書的兩位作者，大家可以猜猜看哪位是記者哪位是前科犯。讀完後覺得這本書遲早會拍成電影，沒想到，在作者網站就看到，電影版權已被Hollywood買走，希望到時也能拍出一部好電影。三秒風暴這本小說在精彩之餘，也提供讀者另一層的省思。警方利用線民是否遊走法律邊緣? 線民往往成為警方及政治人物的犧牲品。即便在北歐如此高度進化的成熟社會，仍然無法避免毒品走私及泛濫的社會問題。

International Ballet Star Gala 2012
Last night I attended International Ballet Star Gala in national theater hall. Its my first time attending Ballet Gala. All ballet stars come from prominent ballet theaters around world, including Paris Opera Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, American Ballet Theater, San Francisco Ballet, Staatsballet Bellet, Stuttgart Ballet, and Universal Ballet of Korea.
The program was excellent including both classic and modern ballet. I especially loved few pieces:
- Adam by Igor Kolb
- Don Quixote by Maria Kochetkova and Daniil Simkin
- Le Rendez-vous by Isabelle Ciaravola and Yann Saiz
- Le Grand Pas de Deux by Alica Amatrian and Jason Reill

Book Review 《 Freedom 》
Freedom by Jonathan Franzen is truly a masterpiece.
It took me three days and I finally finished it. Freedom is probably the best book I read recently. Franzen is a great narrator who gives his readers vivid picture of an American family. The plot was about a couple name Patty and Walter Berglund. Story was told from different perspectives along with few big events in US including 911 and Iraq war. We can see how both Patty and Walter struggled through their childhood and teenage, what they experienced and learned in their college and eventually got married, how they raised their two kids up and at the end faced their 20 years marriage through series of frustration, depression and betrayal. In the end, it is not just characters but also readers who both realize, life, is never easy for anyone. Living itself is a lifelong learning process and we all grow from our experience and mistake. This novel doesnt have dramatic storyline like Hollywood movies but it is story that can take place among us. Story might be long but it definitely deserves reading once.
